Titusville Area Hospital (TAH) is excited to announce the addition of Heather Hunter, AT-C, as the new Athletic Trainer. Heather will be working with the Titusville Area School District to enhance their athletic programs with her expertise and support.
Heather earned her Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from Mercyhurst University. She has over ten years’ experience as an athletic trainer working at both high school and college level.
“We are proud to collaborate with Titusville Area Hospital and thrilled to have Heather join us as we kick off our fall sports season. Her presence is a valuable addition to the athletic programs at Titusville High School,” stated Craig Mehlenbacher, Athletic Director of Titusville High School.
As the athletic trainer, Heather will play a crucial role by focusing on injury prevention, providing immediate care and rehabilitation, and managing injuries during practices and games. She will collaborate with healthcare professionals and maintain detailed records of injuries and treatments, all while ensuring the safety of student athletes.
