Titusville Area Hospital (TAH) is pleased to announce the Imaging department has completed a major upgrade and renovation project. This project included the replacement of the Computed Tomography (CT) scanner. With the new Philips Incisive CT, TAH can offer patients the latest advances in CT imaging and provide valuable clinical insights every time. Accommodating a wide range of patient types and a wide range of exams, the new capabilities of this CT scanner allow for a patient-centric service and high-quality care, facilitating their comfort throughout the entire exam, along with low-dose technology and high-quality standards of imaging.
This CT system is equipped with advanced technologies that allow us to:
Provide excellent diagnostic CT imaging
Uncover obscured pathology through improved visualization and assessment of tissue in proximity to metal implants
Manage radiation dose through the full use of iterative reconstruction techniques and dose management tools
Allow patients to experience high-quality care with more direct bedside operation of the scanner, and build-in ambient features to enhance a positive environment.
